Dublin takes on Gaelforce

Almost 1000 brave souls tackled the notorious Gaelforce adventure race on its maiden outing in Dublin. The demanding race saw competitors cycling to Bohernabreena Reservoir from Tallaght Stadium, where they faced a kayak on the reservoir. They then ran up Kippure Mountain before returning to the finish line at Tallaght Stadium. There were two distances open to participants; 29km and 49km. This fantastic event was brought to Tallaght by South Dublin Chamber and County Council, in partnership with Killary Gaelforce.

Gaelforce Adventure Race comes to South Dublin for the first time

Adventure on your doorstep - The Inaugural Gaelforce Dublin Event 2017

South Dublin County Council and South Dublin Chamber, in partnership with Killary Gaelforce are proud to announce the expansion of the infamous Gaelforce event into Dublin on the 18th of February 2017.  Over 1000 brave souls, will kayak, cycle and run their way through a challenging course in the foothills of the Dublin Mountains. Dubs legend Michael Darragh MacAuley joined the South Dublin Mayor, Guss O’Connell and representatives of South Dublin Chamber and Gaelforce to launch the event.
