SDC Women in Business Network
WELCOME
South Dublin Chamber (SDC) launched the SDC Women in Business network in direct response to requests from members in October 2007. On consulting several members it was decided to build a network that would aspire to be a forum where women can share ideas and expand business contacts. It was clearly identified that the network would be sympathetic to the challenges faced by the modern working woman and a strong commitment was made by South Dublin Chamber that meeting times, local venues and innovative events would be key building blocks of the new Network.
The Network caters to the needs of local businesswomen from all sectors and offers a comprehensive range of personal development, business development and networking opportunities. It is a network that women can contribute to and benefit from.
In September 2009 we launched the Ladies B2B Network which is hosted by Miele, Citywest Business Campus. Membership of the B2B Network is available free to Chamber members
Events held included a special one-day launch event that attracted women from businesses and other organisations in the South Dublin region. This inaugural event attracted over 100 business women. Women from all company sizes and sectors participated in a premier learning experience delivered with panache, humour and a certain joie de vie whilst the programme was clearly underpinned with strategic outcomes relevant to the modern working woman. Feedback from attendees was 5 star with many finding the programme thought provoking and inspiring.
