The purpose of networking for B2Bs
This is a business network formed with the aim of providing members with an opportunity to create, improve and maximise business relationships with like minded business people to increase and improve their business. Referrals and introductions are passed among members as a result of networking and understanding each other’s products and services. It is about improving your business as well as a network organisation. It is suitable for all Chamber members. All are welcome to attend.
Format of networking events
Each meeting is chaired and run efficiently so that it starts and finishes on time. Everyone gets 60 seconds to talk about their business, products or services and to explain what a good lead or referral would be for them. One person gets 10 minutes for a more detailed presentation – everyone gets his or her turn! Several people from the same profession can be members but a member at a meeting can promote only one business at a time. There are 2 network meetings at Citywest and Lucan. Members choose a core network but can visit other meeting on a regular basis. Outside of the meetings, members meet informally but it is vital that “one to one” meetings take place as members gain a greater understanding of each other’s business so that they can make referrals and recommend each other.
